Anika Boyce, Esq. and Ashley Dunbar-Baker, Esq.
My name is Ashley Dunbar-Baker.
My name is Anika Boyce. I met Ashley in 2016, when we both had just started at the Office of the Public Defender in the 9th Circuit.
Ashley and I actually started on the same day, and we were both in the juvenile division.
We instantly connected through our shared mission for equal justice and our compassion for our clients.
We have done trials together. We have protested together. We have traveled the world together.
Together, we founded Liberate Legal to turn our passions into purpose.
We are so grateful and thrilled to have started this firm together. Our mission is to provide fearless, compassionate, and transformative legal advocacy that not only uplifts our community, but also challenges inequities in our system.
Liberate Legal means so much to me. It is how I give back to my community. It is a reminder to my clients that they matter and that they do have a voice.
With integrity, resilience, and purpose, we stand at the intersection of law and liberation. Let us liberate you.
